Delivery & Pick-up
There are four ways you can get your order from TSH:
- Personal Pick-up: You come to our kitchen at 1581 University Avenue in Berkeley during our pick-up hours
and get your order. You can also purchase additional items at the time of pick-up. Pick-up hours are currently Wednesday 5-7pm and Thursday 10am-4pm - Cluster Pick-up: You join a “cluster” in your area, and someone from the cluster comes each week to pick up the food. Usually cluster members take turns picking up.
- Door-to-Door Delivery: Your order is delivered to your door by a third party for a fee. See below for details.
- Drop-off Delivery: Your order is delivered to a drop-off spot by a third party for a fee. You must come to the drop-off site to pick up your order. See below for details.

Checks for door-to-door delivery can either be mailed directly to James or Miles, or they can be left in an envelope in an agreed-upon place on site.
*Customers in the East Bay living beyond the Richmond to Oakland area are subject to an additional charge depending on the distance. Please contact James McCully at 510-965-5500 or email ripsky4501[at]yahoo.com for a quote.
*Customers in Marin living 20 miles outside of the delivery radius are subject to an additional $10.00 due to the long distance. Please contact Miles Newcombe at 510-213-4212 for more information.
Drop-off Site Delivery
Drop-off sites are hosted by customers of Three Stone Hearth and serve as a centralized location where a group of orders can be delivered at one time. It helps to reduce the cost of delivery to our customers as well as lessening the impact of delivery on the environment. We are grateful to our hosts for offering their homes as delivery locations. Please respect their privacy by not disturbing them while picking up your order. When leaving glass returns behind for the following week’s pickup, please leave them in the designated pickup location inside a yellow delivery bin along with the completed glass return paperwork.

How do I return the glass jars and milk bottles to the kitchen so that I can receive credit?
- Place CLEAN mason jars and milk bottles in your yellow delivery box.
- Fill out a glass return form included in your previous order. If you do not have a glass return form a letter size piece of paper will do. Please include your first and last name, date, and the number of mason jars and milk bottles that you are returning and place it in the bin with the jars.
- Door-to-Door deliveries can place their boxes on the porch and it will be picked-up when your next order is delivered.
- Drop-off delivery boxes should be left in a designated spot decided by the host. Please be respectful of the host’s home by stacking boxes neatly.
- When the yellow boxes with the paperwork are returned to us, we credit your account accordingly. Please allow two weeks from time of return for your credit to appear. You can verify receipt of credit by checking the “Transaction History” on your online account. If you have any questions, please email info@threestonehearth.com.
